Fire Light
a blog about all things fire from the Dove Creek volunteers
Here's some facts for you.
The DCVFD is a non-profit that has been saving lives for over 3 decades in the Dove Creek neighborhood and surrounding areas. If you are in or near Tom Green County, you have likely benefited from the coverage of the DCVFD. Today the department has over 20 members, 7 vehicles, and 1 station. Our biggest needs are specialized gear and training, updated vehicles, and station improvements. Our fleet averages over 20 years of hard use. Much of the station has been remodeled by volunteers like you, but more changes are required as well as expansions. Some answer the call with their time, others with money. Please answer this call and make this a positive year for the department.

Your donations help keep our department running. Without them we won’t be able to afford the vital updates that help us improve our capabilities and response time. We have added a helipad thanks to donors like you. Help us in renovating our station office and upgrading to newer firetrucks. Please find it in your heart to give a financial donation to our growing department. Become a supporting member by sending a donation or visit our new website: www.dovecreekvfd.org Thank you in advance, Brandon Gutierrez Assistant Chief (Interim)
